This is a second shot at blogging. The first was as a sorta sometimes guest blogger on my brother's brilliant but short-lived blog (which I won't name, since he let the cat out of the bag as to his secret superhero identity). I was in law school at the time and had neither the time nor the interest to keep up with it, and, frankly, didn't have much to say that anyone else would be interested in.
Erm...okay, so all three problems are still with me. The difference, I suppose, is that I now spend 12 or so hours a day in front of a computer, mostly waiting for someone on an interminable conference call to ask the one question that has anything to do with me. That makes for a fair amount of blogging time. I've also developed a hobby (pickling) a chronic disease (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, or between us chickens "CIDP") and become father to a couple of kids (the gherkins, as I'll call them, are a boy and a girl, 4 and 2, respectively). I still don't have anything much to say that I reckon anyone will care to read, but what the hell, the secret diary is a long and hallowed literary tradition.
So here goes...
